
Hey, I’m Cailin! Like most people, I’ve been baking since I was young. I was always in the kitchen helping my mom sift flour and measure sugar for whatever overly-complicated cake she was making that week.
I love learning about the process behind why things happen when you bake. Although baking itself is fun, I think it’s more interest to understand why a recipe works than it is to blindly follow it. That’s why this blog is here – to look into the hows of baking and understand why your butter needs to be cold, or why you need to fold instead of mix.
